Dr. Richard Brutus

Dr. Brutus is a 1955 graduate of Michigan
State University, College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Brutus
brings to us many years of clinical practice and knowledge.
Dr. Brutus owned and operated Gulf Animal Hospital in Clearwater,
FL from 1967 to 1989. In 1994, he purchased Sunset Point Animal
Hospital in Clearwater, sold that practice in 1998 and performed
veterinary relief work until joining us at Gateway Animal
Hospital.

Dr. Brutus is an active member of the Pinellas
County Veterinary Medical Association and was president for
two years. In addition, Dr. Brutus is a past president of
the Florida Veterinary Medical Association.

|
|
Along with practicing veterinary medicine,
Dr. Brutus also operates a family farm in Pine Village, Indiana.
Both he and his wife, Barbara, are active tennis players and
belong to a local tennis club in Clearwater.

| Dr. Brutus has traveled all over the United States and has
visited New Zealand and Australia. |
